Montgomery County Intermediate Unit #23 A vacancy exists for an Early Intervention Secretary in the Office of Early Childhood Services with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.
The Early Intervention Secretary provides a high-level of customer service and support to Early Intervention programs while also supporting the Regional Program Administrator.
Qualifications:
No post-secondary degree required Holds any appropriate certificates required as part of the job functions Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in administrative support Experience should be in field required for job functions Expertise (includes one or more of the following):
Skills in area to be able to work as proven through work experience Professional approach to their work that includes very strong customer service skills Ability to work in a team environment and to work effectively with people Ability to work under stress and with frequent interruptions Ability to schedule time to meet deadlines, to communicate effectively, and to read and analyze written and verbal information Valid Pennsylvania driver's license Original certificates of clearance from the State Police, Child Abuse Registry, and PDE FBI Duties &
Responsibilities:
Process initial/ongoing IEPs and NOREPs; ensure accuracy of compliance and timelines of all IEP paperwork Ensure all paperwork completed accurately and timely Update relevant databases for student information and documents Coordinate and schedule disapproved NOREP meetings with regional program administrator Coordinate and verify age of beginner information Process release of records for outside agencies and school districts; maintain and monitor staffing list; maintain and assign IEP team in data systems Monitor needs of testing protocols and determine purchasing needs with Director's Administrative Assistant Enter maintenance requests, etc.

Work Schedule:
